Open Data is often talked about as being a valuable and profitable economic market, but several questions are still pending on responses, specially when we refer to rural areas:
- Where is that market and where is that value?
- Can an Open Data market exist in Ireland, especially in Rural Ireland?
- Who are the consumers and producers of Open Data in Ireland?
- How do we develop, stimulate and grow this market to realise the potential of Open Data?
- How is the situation in other rural regions of the Northern Periphery and Arctic?
This seminar is part of IMPROVE, an EU project funded under the INTERREG NPA Programme, which aims to co-produce new responsive, transparent and inclusive public services with our communities.
