The IMPROVE project develops the Heritage Map App

This new app will give visitors the opportunity to learn more and explore this area of Letterkenny (Ireland) from their devices.

The IMPROVE partners from Donegal County Council (Ireland), in collaboration with Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter group, have developed the Heritage Map App under the IMPROVE project. This app will be presented in Dillon's hotel in Letterkenny (County Donegal, Ireland), the 12th of July, at 8 pm. Cllr Gerry McMonagle, Cathaoirleach of Donegal County Council will officially launch the app. Furthermore, the IMPROVE partner and developer of this app Daragh McDonough, Chair of Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter and a representative from Letterkenny Chamber of Commerce Paddy Friel, and Cathedral Quarter committee member John Nee will explain the benefits of it. 

About the app

The app is a product developed from the collaboration between Donegal County Council and Letterkenny Cathedral Quarter group under the IMPROVE project. This app can be downloaded onto different mobile devices with the objective of exploring the area. It is remarkable that the information available on the app has been validated by Kieran Kelly from Letterkenny Historical Society.
